About Working in America
Working in America takes an intimate look at how we feel about what we do (or wish we could do) all day long: work, indebted to and inspired by the remarkable and influential work of Studs Terkel. Working in America is composed of a nationally traveling photographic exhibition, an online archive for everyday people to contribute their own stories, and a radio series co-produced with Radio Diaries and NPR — an initiative that puts a human face on the dramatically changing landscape of work.
