My Story

What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?

People don't know that philanthropy is a sacred obligation that can be damaging if not done with thoughtful intention, but done well, it is life changing.

What makes you most proud of the work you do?

Part of my work includes visiting sites. Sometimes in hospitals, sometimes in schools or communities, and sometimes focused on seeing social issues through art and architecture. Work has led me to meet change-makers and brought me to distant places. Work means liaising between resource and need, understanding social justice, working with people who have enough vision to change systems and enough humility to understand why, and being tuned into unintended consequences large and small.
