My Story

What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?

I am a mental health worker for approximately 30 year now. I work with adults and children with mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia, Depression, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorders.

What makes you most proud of the work you do?

I am most proud of the fact of helping people on a regular basis. Mental illness can affect all walks of life. It does not matter if you are a man or a woman, black or white,etc. It is a disability that cannot be seen. I love breaking stereotypes.
