My Story

What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?

That my job has many hats...I am a teacher, a parent, a social worker, a friend, a listener. I teach in a low-income school where their stories are hard to hear, but I do my best to be there for them when they need me.

What makes you most proud of the work you do?

The reward is hearing the impact you have on the students; whether it is verbally spoke, through a letter or just a look they give you.
