My Story

What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?

I am a public radio journalist. The industry is shrinking and jobs are scarce. I freelance and hustle to sell my stories. It seems like a rockstar job but the pay is low. I am a rideshare driver on the side to make ends meet.

What makes you most proud of the work you do?

i am telling meaningful stories and amplifying voices that may not otherwise be heard. I seek out and research stories that are useful to our communites and society.
