My Story

What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?

I am a start up CEO at the age of 53 pursuing a "second act" career. It is the hardest work I have ever done in 30 years of being a professional. But, the most engaging and energizing experience of my life.

What makes you most proud of the work you do?

Our technology, NowPow, helps people living in poverty access the resources they need to get and stay healthy. We also hire from the communities we serve. I am proud to have created 30 jobs paying a living wage. Bearing personal witness the the power of employment in an underserved community has been uplifting for everyone who works at NowPow.
