My Story
What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?
One thing people don't know about my work is that it was never my plan to become a "social media educator." I was a journalist who started teaching social media classes at the Chicago Tribune and the classes kept selling out. In just a few months, I had taught thousands of people how to use social media and became a "social media educator." Five years later, I absolutely love what I do.
What makes you most proud of the work you do?
To me, work at the most basic level is what you do to make a living. If we are lucky, our work becomes the way in which we use our talents for the greater good.
