My Story
What is one thing about your work that most people don't know?
I think about work all the time. Everything that I experience and enjoy as I go about my day, I think about how I could apply it to my classroom. If I have enjoyed a good book, I want my students to read it too. If I see an exhilarating TED talk, I want to share it in my classroom. In short, work for me is not work but rather a passion.
What makes you most proud of the work you do?
In my work, I am most proud that everything that I do has a direct impact on my students' lives. As an educator, I have the privilege of further developing my students into readers, writers, and thinkers, and of guiding them into becoming connoisseurs of words and stories.
